Hi, I’m Jessie — the owner and massage therapist behind Peace of Mind Massage Therapy. I began my journey in massage therapy because I genuinely wanted to help people feel better in their bodies. What keeps me passionate about this work is my deep interest in the cause and effect of muscle reactions — how tension patterns form, how the body compensates, and how intentional touch can create real change. I’m fascinated by how the body responds when given the right pressure, movement, and support. I am trained in a variety of modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, prenatal massage, trigger point therapy, and sports massage. Rather than offering “routine” sessions, I take an integrated approach to bodywork. Every massage I provide is customized and designed specifically for you. No two sessions are ever exactly the same. I pay close attention to how your body feels that day — not just what was going on last week or last month. Whether you’re experiencing tight shoulders, lower back discomfort, stress-related tension, or simply need focused relaxation, I adjust each session to match your current needs. My work often incorporates stretching, compression techniques, and mobility-focused movements because I strongly believe flexibility and joint mobility are essential — especially as we age. Maintaining movement helps prevent stiffness, supports muscle recovery, and promotes long-term wellness. My goal is not only to relieve tension in the moment, but to help your body function better overall. Peace of Mind Massage Therapy is located inside an acupuncture office; however, I operate as a completely independent business and specialize solely in massage therapy services. I charge 30% for cancellations within less than 6 hours' notice. No shows will be charged the full 100%.
